Ep. 02: Share the Health

Josh and Emily reconvene at the VGM Jukebox, pick out a few more favorite tracks, and meander into a discussion on Parliament-Funkadelic (among other things). Emily regrets accidentally ruining Josh's attempt at live freestyling, but she'll do her best to coerce him into another attempt in a future episode.

  1. Excellent choices on this episode guys. You nailed it perfectly, starting off with some adventure, excitement, funk, drama and chillaxin' (is that a word kids still use these days?). You can never go wrong with Toejam and Earl music, which is honestly one of the if not THE best Genesis soundtrack. Keep the tunes rolling in guys!

  3. I have been knee deep in Metroid II the last month. I bought it as a kid and had no idea what to do, so I got it on my 3DS Virtual Console and have 18 Metroids left. Feeling pretty good, like I actually have a better handle on life now. Cool to hear that jam on here! I've heard it a lot, but listening to it like this makes me think a sound on here sounds a little like record scratches.

  6. Voltage Algorithm; it made a strong impression here, years ago.

I felt that it had taken me on a long journey, while I stayed in exactly the same place.
